Don A. Clark, President, CEO, InfoSmart Partners, LLC.         

For over 39 years Mr. Clark has had an established reputation and a proven track record of executive business management, both at a corporate senior executive level, and as a successful business entrepreneur primarily in the telecommunications industry. In 1997, Mr. Clark founded DAC Media Consulting, Inc., which offers advisory services to the real estate industry, including both residential and commercial portfolio owners. These services include Telecom strategic analysis, planning and business development of technology and services to create added value and new revenue opportunities from clients’ assets.

 

Background and Experience

In 2001 and 2002 DAC Media, which advised Master-planned communities negotiated on the behalf of Jacksonville developer’s telecom service provider agreements, which resulted in millions of dollars in ancillary revenue for DAC clients. Some of those developers in Jacksonville, Florida are Hutson Properties, Southstar, Wood Development, Sandler, Arvida Development, Fletcher Properties, Stokes, Silverfield G&C, Horton, Amelia National, and many more in the Jacksonville region including a new master-planned development at Silverleaf (11,000 unit Mixed-Use community), at Grand Oaks Community and at Madeira more recently with over 40,000 new build residential units under contract.  Mr. Clark in 2003 was recruited to serve as Corporate Vice President of Business Sales and Services in Philadelphia for Comcast Cable Communications, the largest cable operator in the United States with 24 million customers. Mr. Clark was charged with leading the integration of the acquired AT&T cable markets into Comcast with responsibility for the multifamily apartments, master-planned communities, hospitality, military, and student housing vertical markets nationwide serving over 13 million subscribers. In this role, Mr. Clark guided the company in many new business initiatives particularly within the multifamily and single-family development industry, such as the negotiations of large national REIT agreements, development of a Comcast national enterprise multifamily database, MDU leadership training initiatives for Divisions, new marketing initiatives, and new revenue opportunities. He also initiated Comcast’s increased support and involvement with national real estate industry organizations, the Master Planned Developments, National Apartment Association, and the National Multifamily Housing Council (NMHC).

Mr. Clark in 2007 founded RealtyCom Partners LLC. (RCP) and led RealtyCom Partners as CEO, eventually serving 62 real estate multifamily portfolio clients nationally in providing strategic analysis, planning, portfolio telecom management, telecom service provider relations, negotiation of service provider agreements and revenue asset management. On behalf of multifamily apartment owners, property managers and master planned developments, RCP represented approximately 450,000 residential units monetizing and creating value for clients and services for their residents. At the end of 2012 after establishing RCP as the largest telecom consultant firm in the multifamily industry, Mr. Clark sold RealtyCom to his partner end of 2012. Mr. Clark is proud that RCP is still one of the top consulting firms in the industry today.

Recently, Mr. Clark and DAC Media Consultants, Inc. founded and is President and CEO of InfoSmart Partners LLC. Formed ISP In 2017 to serve the real estate multifamily industry for residential and commercial assets to address the changing paradigm shifts in Smart entertainment, information and communications technology services and products. This end-end consulting full service encompasses the network infrastructure of Broadband, Wireless and Cellular technology. “In this day and time when more people that are working from home due to the Covid-19 and work/live housing, the real estate residential housing market, both single family and multifamily housing must do everything possible to provide residents with the required Broadband infrastructure to enable access to the streaming services and symmetrical bandwidth applications up and down stream like telehealth, finance and business enterprises. The more devices. including IoT devices, will require “big pipes” that will make the way we live totally different where we will have the ability for lighting speed retrieval of information to manage real time situational assessments.”  “This is the Information Age, and it is imperative that property owners and managers have equipped their properties and residents the ability to use Information, communications, and Entertainment services and technology.”

Mr. Clark earned a BBA degree and was awarded a baseball athletic scholarship from the University of Georgia. Mr. Clark has been awarded industry awards such as from CTAM, The Cable Television and Marketing Association. Mr. Clark also is an active supporter of charitable organizations, including The John Hopkins Research and Cure of Prostate Cancer, Susan Komen Cure for Cancer, Prader-Willi, Special Olympics, Southwest Autism Research and Resource Center, The Seany Cancer Foundation, and the Mathew Ryan Veterinarian Hospital. Mr. Clark is a member of the National Apartment Association, the National Multifamily Housing Council, Broadband Properties, and Multifamily Executive. Mr. Clark has also written telecom articles and submitted “DAC Response Comments” to the FCC in support of real estate industry issues. Mr. Clark loves all sports, especially golf and hiking.

 

 

Harry L. (Chip) Cashin III, Regional VP

Harry (Chip) Cashin III has spent the last 33 years working a successful career in the Information Technology and Telecommunications field. He has a proven and diverse background in physical cable plant, Fiber Optics, Communication Cabling, LAN/WAN Infrastructure, cellular, broadband and wireless. He spent 23 years at Cisco, a market leader in Enterprise Networking equipment, next generation Data Center, Voice, Video & Data integrations, Wireless, Security and IoT, (Internet of Things). He is a BICSI certified Registered Communications Distribution Designer, (RCDD), with a background in Smart / Intelligent Buildings. Mr. Cashin has worked closely and negotiated with most of the Service Providers, (ISP’s) such as AT&T, Verizon and Comcast. Chip has also provided his clients advisement & insights for moving certain software applications and compute/storage resources to the Cloud working with Google and Amazon AWS. His background is primarily in Sales, Strategic Account Management, Information Technology hardware, software, professional services and consulting with his client’s Executive Leadership.

Originally from Atlanta, GA, Mr. Cashin is a 1985 graduate from the University of Georgia with an Economics degree. He also studied Finance, Real Estate, Accounting and Insurance at UGA Terry College of Business in Athens, GA. Chip currently resides in Ponte Vedra Beach, FL since 2003 with his wife Anne. They have three grown children. Mr. Cashin is a member of Jacksonville Golf & Country and Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Church. He enjoys golf, boating, fishing and many outdoor sports such as Snow Skiing.
